The various divisions of the music are flats, chords, natural, scales and notes. The piano player is expected to have knowledge on all these. The piano chords are the mixture of the notes in one key that is played concurrently. The very basic chord contains 3 notes. It is visible from the piano keyboard that 2 black keys are positioned together and the white key that is immediate to the left is called C. The same has to be pressed along with the 2nd key next to it. This is called as the C major chord. The major chords are of 12 types. They are G, C, E, D, F, A, Ab, Eb, Db, Gb, Bb and B.
The position of these chords have to be considered and the practice has to be started on own. During the practice session, it is not compulsory that the same has to be played quickly. It is not that the major chords alone have to be played. They are taken as the correct ones for learning before commencing the practice or play on further chords.
